Looking over the agenda below, it is important to point out all the items for discussion under Public Operations. The Pulaski Town Council will be holding a called meeting this coming Tuesday (August 10th) in council chambers for the purpose of discussing the proposed boundary line adjustment of the town. The council meeting on Tuesday will be a very important meeting for those who have and have not been following the proposed boundary line adjustment of the town. Though a lot of people think of this as an annexation, this is not the case. In order for the adjustment to go through, both the Town and the County need to come to an agreement of the proposed changes in the boundary and how it will be implemented. This meeting will be an opportunity for Council to openly discuss the information they have received thus far and ask questions of Town staff. There will be a lot of information discussed and debated such as the potential costs to the Town as well as possible gains. If you have time, I would advise attending this meeting. The agenda is below.
